WOD Toys

Posted by Mark Chandley on

WOD Toys was founded in 2011 by Earnest Ebio while he was living in Seattle Washington.   The company produces kid’s toys in the form of kettlebells, plyo boxes, barbells and medicine balls and promotes the idea of family and fitness, two things he and his wife love.

As an avid Crossfitter, Earnest wanted to influence his child with the idea that physical fitness would be a part of their lives.  After doing some research, it was clear that there were no products available out there and the idea to start WOD Toys was born.

In late 2011 they began taking orders and by the spring of 2012, they began shipping their first WOD Toys.    Since then, they have expanded their product line and after 3 holiday seasons, you can find kids all over the world following in their parents footsteps with their own exercise equipment.

In the beginning the company’s focus was selling their product via an e-commerce model and then expanding into fitness retailers.  After a while it became apparent that becoming a “toy” company would be a better route so they began attending trade shows, meetings folks in the industry and that really paid off.  They can now be found in the major retailers and on-line as well.

      Rock Em Socks

      Posted by Mark Chandley on

Rock Em SocksRock Em Socks is a company that has been leading edge in the fast moving world of sock fashion.  This look has been trending now for the past few years and Rock Em Socks has capitalized on it.

In 2011, they began printing on Nike Elite Socks, a process that got them instant success.  Evolving over time, they now go by the name Rock Em Apparel and have expanded into apparel.  It wasn’t always a well-known brand name.  The founder,  Rob Starkman, was attending UCF in Florida when he started making custom socks in his kitchen sink.  After getting noticed on campus, he began doing more and selling them to friends and others on e-bay.  The rest is history as they say.

Once critical mass was happening, Rob took an academic leave and focused on the business full time.  They are now crushing their goals and expanding internationally while looking for new space to accommodate their growing business.

Their socks are reinforced in the heel and toe to enhance durability, have a supportive fit with arch compression and are marked for left/right to ensure the best fit and look.  You will love the look and feel of these in the box or out.

Rock Em is now crushing their business goals.  “Never would I imagine it being this big.” Said Starkman.

Welcome and thanks for visiting WODSuperStore.com!  As we see our traffic grow to our site we wanted to let you know that we are constantly working on expanding our product offering and making sure that we have every brand that you need to enjoy your crossfit WOD.  Right now, some of our key focus is around the Olympic lifting gear, crossfit shoes, crossfit apparel and various other forms of crossfit gear and crossfit accessories.  Our focus is to bring all things Crossfit to the Crossfit athlete under one roof and shipped to you for a flat fee of $4.99, no matter how many things you order.

So here is the challenge; what crossfit products do you need and what crossfit gear are we not carrying?  The more we close that gap the more you athletes will save.  And since we are crossfitters ourselves, we win too!  (We love the win-win, check out our values)

Post your comments here, E-mail us at info (at) wodsuperstore.com or visit our facebook page at www.facebook.com/wodsuperstore and post what we need to carry there.  Either way, we need and want your feedback!

If you need a little inspiration to get brainstorming, rock out to this! (sorry if you get a stupid ad, post if you know how to remove that too!)

      Thank You!-WOD Superstore

      Posted by Bridgett Chandley on

A million thank you's to everyone that helped make WOD Superstore a reality.  Many obstacles were overcome to get to this point, but just like my WOD today, it was hard work, there were times I thought I may puke, tomorrow there will be more work to do, but it is so worth it!

Crossfitters, you rock! The athlete submissions continue to impress, amaze and inspire me on daily basis. I look forward to the day I can meet you all in person. Please keep your personal stories coming!

Brands, you rock too! I have throughly enjoyed getting to know you and understanding your deeper connection to the Crossfit community. I look forward to working with each and everyone of you.

      WOD ON Crossfitters! WOD ON!
